First Impressions

Very simple yet calming.

The full-screen popup ads that appear after every round are quite annoying.

Design

  • No separate home screen — extremely simple

  • Controls are very basic but quite satisfying

  • UI/UX is somewhat uncomfortable

  • Screen UI layout is so cluttered it causes confusion with ads

  • Rotation speed control was decent

  • Business Model:

  • Banner ads, full-screen popup ads, paid ad-free version

  • Extremely unpleasant ads appearing every single round

  • Even 30-second ads

Development

  • Likely more technical elements than meets the eye
  • The color mixing implementation was refreshingly novel
  • Depending on how they show match accuracy against the example, additional technical depth may be involved

Art

  • Surprisingly simple modeling, but shader work appears well-considered
  • Particle effects are simple yet appropriately applied
  • Apart from slightly excessive UI, everything is quite clean

I must have watched about 20 ads playing this game — I'm jealous of the developer.

This is exactly the type of game I personally dislike and find unpleasant, but from a business perspective, it's well-made.

That said, I'd rather not see more of these unpleasant games being produced.

I actually found myself seriously considering making games this way. I think other developers feel the same.

I hope this era of mass-produced Chinese ad-farm games ends sooner rather than later.

Controls feel uncomfortable.
